Poet and author Arundhathi Subramaniam has written primarily about culture and spirituality. Arundhathi won the first Mystic Kalinga Literary Award, the first Khushwant Singh Memorial Prize for Poetry, and the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award (2020) for her work 'When God is a Traveler' at the Kalinga Literary Festival (2017)
